Projects & Stories
The Civic Canopy exists to promote the type of collaboration among individuals, organizations, and institutions that can transform our civic climate and produce the types of grassroots and systemic changes that lead to increased civic health.
Toward this end, members of the Canopy work together to create grassroots working groups that address targeted issue areas or specific geographic regions. The Colorado Campaign for the Civic Mission of Schools and the Yosemite Corridor Safety Action Committee are two such examples of how collaborative processes can help everyone achieve what none could do alone. For those just beginning a collaborative process, we hope these serve as useful examples. For those involved in more established collaborative efforts, we hope the Canopy can provide a way to extend the reach and impact of your work. Please contact us to let us know how the Canopy can help in this regard.
