Amy is passionate about improving processes and systems in order to develop and operationalize innovative, equitable and inclusive collaborative strategies that address the needs of community residents, stakeholders and organizations. She is excited to serve as a board member on The Civic Canopy board to support their work building collaborative, asset-based relationships among community members in order to create positive sustainable change at all levels. Amy is currently a Performance Analyst with the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) and she holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She has dedicated the majority of her career to working internationally and domestically in organizational and strategy development, change management and program evaluation in non-profit, foundation, corporate, State, and Federal Government environments. She has provided resources and capacity building to foster the stability, inclusion and empowerment of refugees, migrants, displaced persons, women and communities of various cultures, oftentimes in vulnerable settings.
