Morgan is a deeply rooted Coloradan striving towards a future where all of us can thrive. They support communities to strengthen their civic muscles and build more spaces where we can disagree, wrestle with complex ideas, tackle systemic issues, and solve problems together. To do this, Morgan moves between roles of network weaver, relationship builder, facilitator, storyteller, process prince, change doula, and dancing queen. Grounded in principles of emergent strategy, anti-racism, trauma-informed practice, and consent, Morgan’s work at the Civic Canopy seeks to engage Coloradans in everyday democracy. They bring experience in coalition building, K-12 education, nonprofit operations, strategic planning, food systems, community organizing, and place-based community engagement. Morgan is currently a graduate student at the Center for New Directions in Politics and Public Policy at the University of Colorado Denver.
