Bio

Hugh provides operational oversight to The Civic Canopy, helping to ensure the organization has the tools and materials in place to fulfill its mission and vision. He brings 15+ years of experience in oversight of systems, processes, technology, HR, accounting support, and facilities management. Operations hits its sweet spot for Hugh when office systems are running smoothly and efficiently and quietly become the unobserved norm. Hugh spent his elementary school years in Bolivia, where his parents were serving in the Peace Corps. During this time, he developed a strong affinity for different cultures, while perfecting his Spanish. Outside of the office, Hugh is an artist and his paintings are exhibited in local galleries. He received a BFA in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin.
